Hyperspectral Imaging Devices
Hyperspectral imaging consists of acquisition and analysis of images
recorded using a number of different wavelengths of light (spectral bands).
The acquisition is performed by an imaging spectrometer. We have created
several versions of the instrument, starting with an alumnium box system
that was not user-friendly, but very functional for developing methods
and testing new ideas. An example of an intermediate-level system, used
for developing multiple medical applications (diabetes, shock, wound healing)
is shown below:
